I just finshed my final yeasterday for Editorial Illustration class. I had to do a Rolling Stone Cover, I chose the Kokua Festival that is held every year in Hawaii by Jack Johnson. This past year was great .... Jack, Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds.. on stage together, it was great.

Hello all!

I just wanted to tell everybody (some of you may already know) that out of the five pieces of art that I entered into the ADDY competition, I won four pieces. AND now I just got the news that out of the four that went onto the District competition... I WON THREE!

Now those three pieces are going to be competing at the National Level!

This is what the American Advertising Federation site says about the ADDY awards:

The AAF Student ADDY Awards Competition is a unique national awards program designed specially for college students. Work entered at your local level can move up to the regional and national judging, just like the work entered by professionals across the country.

With over 60,000 entries annually, the ADDY® Awards are the world's largest and arguably toughest advertising competition. The ADDY® Awards represent the true spirit of creative excellence by recognizing all forms of advertising from media of all types, creative by all sizes and entrants of all levels from anywhere in the world. The American Advertising Federation, a not-for-profit industry association conducts the ADDY® Awards through its 200 member advertising clubs and 15 districts. It is the only creative awards program administered by the advertising industry for the industry.'

All of the winners are going to be sent to the nationals where it is a new playing field so, I'll keep you posted

I just got to see the first stages of the website Obadiah1.com today. It's looking pretty sweet by my standards. ;)

I just finished with the first set of t-shirts for the site awhile back. I don't want to show them off yet until the site opens though, (on January 1st)

So stay tuned and keep checking in!

Also, Jeff form GoMedia showed me this friggin AWESOME site called emptees.com. It's a site dedicated to showing the hottest and fresh new t-shirt designs from some of the worlds best designers. I love it and I joined a few weeks ago but I have yet to post any designs... but I will! I promise!

I know I'm a little bit late for that but I just wanted to say it anyways and to show off my costume last Saturday night. I had to DJ a Halloween Party and just to get into the spirit I decided to go with what I know best, Zombies. Needless to say I was big deal. *sarcastically speaking* I went as a zombie with a cd stuck in my neck, fitting right? p.s. this is all make-up by me, the only photoshop work was the eyes and a little bit of messing with the brightness/contrast. enjoy, -b

I know I have not posted anything on here for awhile now. But I promise you it is because I've been SUPER busy. Between My day job, and the t-shirt/Screen Printing stuff I've been doing lately (Not to mention I've gone BACK to school!) I have not had time to keep you guys posted with whats going on in my life, and I'm sorry for that. But I cannot complain though, I'm staying busy, making money, and learning...thats got to count for something. And while I'm thinking about it, I plan on starting my own line of shirts. I don't know exactly what will be on them yet but you can count on them being pure Adam Baker hotness...If that even exists. If you have any suggestions as to what you would like to see on a shirt, Shoot me an e-mail or let's blog about or whatever. I think I've said my piece for the day. So this is goodbye, for now. It's 1:55 in the morning, on May 20,2007. Thanks to Barry I finally have my NEW and IMPROVED website up and running! The new look Is great! again, super mad props to Barry for making my visions a reality. So I'd like you to take a moment and enjoy MY WORLD.
